The second time we visited what was to become Fort Linwell, our new home, we didn't meet the boat in Oakridge, but a little closer to home and just north in Port Royal. The little dock we waited on was just across from this other little dock, with the cutest little boathouse!
First, love the colors, but especially the rendition of the classic Greek waves along the side. The beautiful backdrop of the Caribbean sea, the breeze, the everything was nothing less than inspiring.
Oh, and reminiscent of an old garden bench my dad built and a friend Katie painted 20 years ago! :)
I've seen it for so long I'd sort of forgotten about the pattern on it. I suspect we'll be seeing some beautiful blues and a few painted waves in the coming months.
